Insiders revealed that the chips ordered by Suan Neng Technology from TSMC match the chips found on Huawei's Ascend 910B processor. In order to protect US national security, Huawei has been restricted from purchasing this technology product. Reuters cannot determine how the chip was ultimately installed on Huawei products.

The US Department of Commerce stated that it is aware of reports of possible violations of US export controls, but cannot comment on whether any investigation is underway.

The investigation by the US Department of Commerce into the possible association between TSMC and Huawei is unrelated to Computing Technology and its products, and the company has never had any business relationship with Huawei.
